As a writer I cover a diverse range of topics, from mental health and motherhood, to folklore and feminism. My work has appeared in the Guardian, Vogue, National Geographic, Stylist, Metro, the simple things, Breathe, Mslexia, Litro, Cunning Folk, Backstory, and Women: A Cultural Review. I've also been known to dabble in poetry, publishing in Popshot. In 2020 I was longlisted for Penguin's Write Now scheme, and in 2021 my writing was supported by a grant from Arts Council England. In 2023 I was longlisted for the London Library Emerging Writers Programme. In 2024 I appeared live on Newstalk's Moncrieff. I am currently working on a memoir of narrowboat life.
